有人的努力，演講時是一度哽咽，而國民黨高雄市議會黨團也同步開記者會質疑，善款委員會市府代表太多，質疑捐款成為市府私房錢，陳菊回應，救災不該分藍綠，也強調善款運用絕對是公正公開。

高雄氣爆週年前夕，高雄市長陳菊帶領市府局處首長，以九十度鞠躬，感謝所有人這段時間的幫忙。

透過一張張照片，看到高雄從氣爆當時，馬路全被炸毀，市容完全變色，一直到陸續完工的災區重建，街道慢慢回到氣爆前的景象，一幕募景象，也讓陳菊演講時，一度哽咽。

台上堅強，但一走下位子，陳菊還是忍不住激動心情，拿起衛生紙擦眼淚，而另一頭，國民黨高雄市議會黨團也召開記者會，寫出愛心善款不等於市府私房錢，質疑善款運用不當。

陳菊強調，善款運用完全公開透明，氣爆一週年，還是藍綠交鋒議題，後續恐怕還是左右港都總統立委選票的交戰重點。（民視新聞曾依翔、謝耀德、鄭兆佐高雄市報導）
